Day 60: Shared A Smile

OH, the simple joy of a smile. :)

Have you smiled much today?! Well, I would like to share a smile with you today! So, what if I told you a joke. I'm going to warn you, I am not good with jokes, but this one always get me.
Why does Peter Pan always fly? Because he can Never Land. Oh boy, that one never gets old....:) HAHA there you go!

Didn't work? Watch any of these videos that make me smile and I am SURE I will get you to smile also...and possibly cry.

What, you may ask, is Kailee up to? Well my friends, today is national Share A Smile Day! I have taken this opportunity, like much of you should, to smile at anyone and everyone you see. It is amazing what a smile can do for your attitude and others! I'm not going to lie, I do catch road rage from time to time. But, I was having a joyous morning and decided to smile at others as they drove by and allowed others into my lane with a smile and a head-nod. I was blown away by how calm I was while driving and how much more blissful I felt! Again, it is amazing the power a smile can contain.

The day is from far over, share a smile or laugh with others today! I realize that this should be an everyday occurrence, but I dare you to smile at everyone today! Everyone has their battles they are fighting and maybe your beautiful grin is exactly what they needed. Happiness is contagious!

Here is a poem written by a 13 year old about the power of smile! So true.

Smile
She smiled at a sorrowful stranger...
The smile seemed to make him feel better...
He remembered past kindnesses of a friend
And wrote him a thank you letter...
The friend was so pleased with the thank you
That he left a large tip after lunch...
The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,
Bet the whole thing on a hunch...
The next day she picked up her winnings,
And gave part to a man on the street...
The man on the street was grateful;
For two days he'd had nothing to eat...
After he finished his dinner,
He left for his small dingy room...
He didn't know at that moment
That he might be facing his doom...
On the way he picked up a shivering puppy
And took him home to get warm...
The puppy was very grateful
To be in out of the storm...
That night the house caught on fire...
The puppy barked the alarm...
He barked till he woke the whole household
And saved everybody from harm...
One of the boys that he rescued
Grew up to be President...
All this because of a simple smile
That hadn't cost a cent...

Smile & God bless,
Kailee :)
