Day 86: Helped Bake Cookies

This afternoon, I had the pleasure of helping Nicole Renard prepare for her fantastic flashlight easter egg hunt! I assisted her in making scrumptious sugar cookies and orange dreamsicle cookies. In addition to catching up with a good friend, I learned two delicious recipes and how to zest a lemon! Hey, you learn something new every day. ;)

When the cookies were done, Nicole and I had to taste one to make sure they were suitable for her guests. The orange dreamsicle cookie was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The recipe is even featured in Nicole's cook book, which she has for sell. Even though the cookies were a kindness to my stomach, I was happy to lend a hand.
