Day 148: Heal Oklahoma

Oklahoma could still use our help! We have the opportunity to DoSomething, by sending art supplies to Heal Oklahoma. Dosomething.org is collecting art supplies to give to children to cope with the disaster. According to the site, "after traumatic experiences, young kids sometimes have a hard time processing what they've been through. In these instances, like the one in Moore, Oklahoma, art can help them work through their grief in a creative way, starting the healing process." Do Something has partnered with Art Feeds, focusing on relieving pain through art.

I went to the store and picked up 3 supplies from the list- notepad, a 10 pack of markers and an 8 pallet paint. The list also consists of a 24 pack of crayons, a 10-12 pack of colored pencils, pencils, black and blue pens, erasers and a cape to make the kids feel empowered! Together, we can help heal Oklahoma.
