Day 322: Blessings Under The Bridge

This evening some sisters and I had the opportunity to help some Campfire USA girls make tie blankets for Blessings Under the Bridge. The Campfire girls are challenging kids at school to donate gloves, hats, and blankets to this organization. Blessings Under the Bridge is a 501©3 in Spokane and was founded in 2007. They clothe, feed, love and serve those who are homeless in the Spokane area.

We made six tie blankets in addition to a box for donations and signs for the girls to place around their school. I actually think we broke the record for how quickly we were able to bust out six blankets. While some girls were cutting, others were tying. Overall, we had incredible teamwork and had a great time! It was so nice to make a connection with Campfire and help a great cause in the process.
