Day 314: Help End Hunger

As mentioned a few days back, this is the time of the year when opportunities start popping up left and right to give back. Also, popping up more are chances to donate food to food banks, just in time of the holidays.

                                             

While doing a little grocery shopping this evening, I came across a pile of brown bags that said, "Help End Hunger." Inside the bags were $10 worth of canned foods and other non-perishable items. Shoppers are encouraged to pick up a bag at the register and Safeway will donate the food to a local food bank. So, when I was ringing up I grabbed a bag and the food inside will be donated to the Cheney food bank.
