Day 156: Showed My Stripes

This afternoon, I was driving home from school while listening to iHeart radio. An interesting commercial came on that caught my attention. It was a campaign presented by iHeart radio called "Show Your Stripes- Hire Smart, Hire Vets." Basically, the radio is pushing for businesses to hire veterans that are looking for jobs. The site is a place where veteran's can share their success stories, where businesses can search for vets to hire and where supporters can vow to support businesses that have hired vets within the area. That is the cool thing about this site, all the information is targeted for anarea near you.

This is so so so simple. I believe that if you believe in our troops and veterans, you should show your support as well. All you have to do is go to the site linked above and pledge to support. No money, no real time commitment, just a few seconds of your day.
